This solution goes by the name "SeaPlanet FR".
SeaPlanet FR is a fabric that is manufactured using 100% recycled PET plastic collected from the ocean beds. This product of technical innovation and modern creativity contains no harmful chemicals or substances and is 100% PVC, Halogen, and Antimony free. The manufacturers also guarantee the fabric is made up of materials that do not contain restricted substances or Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) listed in the European Union REACH regulation.
Production of SeaPlanet FR actively helps to eliminate plastic from sea beds. As demand increases, so too does the demand for the reclaimed plastic from which the material is made. Local fishermen are able to sell quantities of plastic they have retrieved from the sea beds to manufacturers, sustaining themselves and their families while simultaneously clearing the oceans — and the fabric itself is also recyclable.
